Honeywell Technology To Drive Process Automation For Aker BP Operations In The North Sea

Asker, Norway., April 29, 2025 – Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) today announced Aker BP, a leading oil and gas exploration and production company operating on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, will deploy Honeywell's Forge Asset Performance Management (APM) across five assets in the North Sea. The addition of Honeywell’s APM capabilities to assets across multiple automation systems will support Aker BP’s Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) strategy and drive predictive maintenance across its operations.

Honeywell Forge APM integrates seamlessly across a range of platforms, creating a unified, OEM-agnostic approach to asset health monitoring. The AI-driven analytics provided by the solution can enable early fault detection, provide prescriptive maintenance recommendations and risk-based maintenance prioritization, helping to reduce unplanned downtime and optimize asset performance.

As part of this agreement, Honeywell and Aker BP will also establish a strategic Innovation & Technology Forum to collaboratively advance asset performance, improve operational productivity and further Aker BP’s long-term digitalization goals. The forum will bring together leadership and technical experts from both organizations to drive advancements in asset performance, productivity, and operational safety across Aker BP's North Sea operations.
