Honeywell torque sensors feature both reaction (non-rotating) and rotary torque sensors that utilize bonded strain gage technology. The rotary torque capability offers both in-line mounting configurations as well as clamp-on sensors. Varying signal transfer methods from the traditional slip ring and rotary transformer to both analog and digital telemetry methods complete a vast product set to fill most application requirements. Sensor capacity ranges cover from the low end 3 in-oz. (0.02 Nm) up to 1.5 M in-lb (169K Nm). Reaction torque sensors offer torque measurements from 10 in-oz (0.07 Nm) up to 1.5 M in-lb (169K Nm). A variety of mounting configurations are offered including: shaft-to-shaft, flange-to-flange, shaft-to-flange, spline drives, and square drives. Our elements have been carefully engineered and designed to increase the sensitivity levels giving our sensors the enhanced accuracy and reliability the industry requires and also the specifications and tolerances of today’s standards. These products are designed for the precise measurements required for test and measurement in R&D, manufacturing, process control, and quality assurance.
