Honeywell absolute, gage, and true gage pressure sensors are well suited for rugged and tough environments. We specialize in high pressure sensors and flush diaphragm sensors.

Honeywell manufactures an extensive range of absolute, gage, and true gage pressure sensors, with a focus on high-pressure and flush diaphragm sensors. As a leader in the industry, Honeywell is one of the few companies that offers pressure sensors capable of measuring up to 175,000 psi with exceptional accuracy and reliability. Our sensors utilize advanced foil-based strain gage technology, which allows them to endure extreme pressures that would typically compromise silicon-based or micromachined sensors. For even higher pressure ranges, up to 100,000 psi, the Model HP provides 0.5% accuracy and operates within a range of -54°C to 121°C (-65°F to 250°F). For demanding applications, we offer custom-built pressure transducers with hoop-stress designs and specialized metal alloys, enabling measurements up to 175,000 psi. Additionally, these high-pressure sensors can be equipped with optional temperature compensation for mV output. We also offer hazardous environment-certified models, making them ideal for critical applications in oil-field geology, aerospace research, and development. For applications requiring high-frequency pressure measurements or where space is limited, Honeywell’s subminiature flush diaphragm pressure sensors deliver reliable performance across from 0 psi to 100 psi and up to 20,000 psi. Constructed from all-welded, machined stainless steel, these sensors feature durable sensing diaphragms designed for maximum ruggedness. They incorporate bonded piezoresistive and metal foil strain gauges to enhance reliability and precision. Our sensors offer millivolt outputs with optional high-level outputs, ensuring compatibility with a wide variety of data acquisition systems. These flush diaphragm sensors are ideal for applications in aerospace hydraulics, flow metering, down-hole drilling, well logging, and automated metering systems for handling high-viscosity materials. Additionally, submersible designs with oceanographic-grade cabling are available.
