    Die Hall-Effekt-Drehzahlsensoren der Serie SNDH-H verwenden einen magnetisch vorgespannten, integrierten Schaltkreis basierend auf dem Hall-Effekt, mit dem die Drehbewegung von Eisenmetallgeberrädern erfasst wird. Der speziell entwickelte IC (integrierter Schaltkreis) und ein Permanentmagnet sind in robusten Sondentypgehäusen eingeschlossen. Die Flussdichte des Permanentmagneten ändert sich, wenn sich Eisenmetall nähert.

    Dies wird durch die Hall-ICs erfasst. Wenn der Sensor am Umfang eines sich drehenden Zahnrads angebracht wird, erkennt er zum Beispiel die Zähne und Lücken und übermittelt einen digitalen Impulsausgang mit einer Frequenz proportional zur Zahnradgeschwindigkeit. Die optimale Leistung ist von den folgenden Variablen abhängig, die gemeinsam zu betrachten sind: Zielmaterial, Geometrie und Geschwindigkeit, Sensor/Ziel-Lücke und Umgebungstemperatur.
