Overview
Type I natural rubber (non-ozone resistant) and Type II SALCOR® synthetic rubber (ozone resistant) are both excellent choices for providing top-level electrical insulation for workers. To keep these rubber goods performing at their best and to extend their lifespan, it's important to take good care of them.
Before each use, take a moment to visually inspect the rubber for any signs of damage—like holes, embedded wires, rips, tears, ozone cracks, UV wear, or chemical deterioration. A quick check can go a long way in keeping you safe!
