Series 3000 Mkll and Mklll Gas Detectors

The Series 3000 range of transmitters provide comprehensive monitoringof toxic and Oxygen gas hazards in potentially explosive atmospheres.Suitable for mounting both indoors and out, they are available in twoversions and offer Searchline Excellent versatility. The Series 3000 MkII iscontained in a flameproof housing, has an intrinsically safe sensorconnection and is for use in predominantly Zone 1 applications. Howeverwith the use of the optional remote mounting kit the sensor of theSeries 3000 MkII can be mounted in a Zone 0 environment.The Series 3000 MkIII is for use with a separate suitable IS barrier(to be ordered separately) allowing the complete transmitter to be usedin Zone 0 applications.These low powered gas detectors all feature a loop powered 4-20mAconnection, making them ideal for both new and retrofit installations.Users can configure the detector through the use of the easy to read LCDand intuitive interface while fault diagnostic software and aprogrammable calibration period greatly simplify maintenanceprocedures.The intrinsically safe smart sensors are supplied pre-configured and canbe ‘hot swapped’ without having to remove power to the detector, savingtime and money during commissioning and routine servicing. A remotesensor mounting kit is available that allows the sensor to be mounted upto 50’ (15m) from the transmitter, making it ideal for operation in areas thatare difficult to access.Series 3000 MkII and Mk III are supplied with all necessary accessories foreasy installation. The detector has 4 mounting lugs for surface mountingor and optional pipe mounting kit. Electrical installation can be made usingeither conduit or cable with suitable mechanical protection. Available inpainted Aluminium LM25 or Stainless Steel 316 with two ¾” NPT entries ortwo M20 entries with a suitable blanking plug (certification type dependent)included as standard. A weatherproof cap is also included for use in theharshest outdoor conditions.Series 3000 MkII transmitter (flameproof) is supplied complete with integral surface mounting lugs, 2 x 3/4”NPT or 2 x M20conduit/cable entries (certification dependent), 1 x suitable blanking plug, 1 x hex wrench set, weatherproof cap, operatingmagnet, calibration and test certificate.
