If you work on an industrial environment where your feet are exposed to various risks every day, you know how important it is to wear the right footwear. Committed to helping workers’ feet stay safe and comfortable on the job, we have designed Ballast 2.0, the new safety footwear for industrial workers from MTS.
MTS Ballast 2.0 FLS is the result of our extensive research and innovation in the field of safety footwear. We designed the shoes to help protect feet from a wide range of hazards, such as heavy objects, sharp materials, slippery surfaces, extreme temperatures and electric shocks – while providing comfort and stability on the job.
Built to meet the requirements of the latest EN standards, this new version of safety footwear incorporates a breathable and waterproof Sympatex® membrane and a fast lacing system. These additions aim to provide superior breathability, all-day comfort, improved protection, and a design that’s adapted to the challenges of an industrial environment.

- High-quality full-grain leather upper
- Breathable and waterproof Sympatex® membrane
- Dual density PU/Nitrile sole, with orange phosphorescent inserts which provide day and night high visibility.
- Non-metallic penetration protection insole
- Composite toe cap
- Fast Lacing System (FLS)
- Artico lining for increased abrasion, higher elasticity, improved heat conductivity for optimum work conditions.
- Heel stiffener to reinforce the heel seat and provide optimum support to ankle region
Reflective strips on the sides. - HI and CI markings: resistance to inimical environments - Heat insulation and Cold insulation of the sole complex.
- HRO marking resistance to hot contact.
