Com o seu design compacto e moderno e poderosos recursos de imagem, projetado na plataforma de desempenho máximo (extreme performance, XP) da Honeywell, o Solaris 7990g se ajusta facilmente a recintos existentes utilizados nos ambientes de checkout de varejo de grande volume, como lojas de conveniência, drogarias, lojas especializadas, mercearias e lojas de bebidas alcoólicas. O Solaris XP apresenta velocidade de varredura 20% mais rápida, tolerância a movimentos de até 5 m/s e um campo de visão mais amplo do que os modelos Solaris anteriores. A tecnologia XP comprovada em campo da Honeywell lida com facilidade com códigos de barras mal impressos e danificados. O Solaris XP é compatível com versões e modelos anteriores, tornando as atualizações rápidas e simples.
