Arc Flash Head & Neck Protection with Dual FansHoneywell Salisbury developed arc flash cooling hoods to not only keep you comfortable while working, but to keep you safer! We paired our award winning PrismShield™ Plus lens with a Smart Cooling dual fan unit that will automatically shut off if an arc flash is detected and alert you if carbon dioxide levels in the hood become unsafe. - Available in 20-100 calories in Lift Front Hood or Fixed Hood/beekeeper styles
- Powered by lithium-ion rechargeable batteries à will run 9 hours on high w/100% output vs. competition who have disposable batteries that run average of 3 hours on high w/100% output
- Includes sensor to automatically shut off fan if arc flash detected
- Prevents toxic air inhalation by retaining the cleanest air in the room – the air inside your hood.
- Sensor-less hoods continue to operate after arc flash and could introduce the arc flash fume inside the hood
- Includes carbon dioxide sensor.
- Alarm will sound if CO2 above safe levels (2500ppm).
- Increasing levels of carbon dioxide lead to negative health affects and hinder a worker’s ability. Studies show that anxiety and fear were significantly increased when CO2 levels in confined space increased.
