Founded in 1855, Salisbury started as a company specializing in independent electrical products. As the years progressed, the company played a pivotal role in the electrical safety movement, culminating with the patenting of the line hose design in 1924. This was a major improvement in safety for lineman, and a major start for Salisbury providing products for linemen safety.
