When you choose gas detection solutions from Honeywell, your priorities are our priorities.

When you choose gas detection solutions from Honeywell, your priorities are our priorities.

As a leader in gas detection solutions for over 50 years, Honeywell brings extensive experience and engineering expertise through our gas detectors portfolio, but we know that’s not enough.  We know that your gas detection partner needs to not only understand but closely align with your priorities for high-quality, reliable devices, acceptable total cost of ownership (TCO), and on-point services.

We have the people and products to support semiconductor projects of various sizes, in most places in the world. Our legacy gas detector designs, continuously updated to incorporate the latest technologies, represent a comprehensive product line and we’ve invested in continually innovating them for over 50 years.  Here’s a brief selection of what we can offer you.

Here’s how Honeywell gas detection solutions priorities can match yours

Our high tech gas detection portfolio includes customer-proven solutions for various kinds of applications in semiconductor and industrial manufacturing, as well as oil and gas laboratories, solar manufacturing operations, and national and university labs that specialize in semiconductor processing research.

One of our newest offerings, the Midas® S2 gas monitoring system, is a fixed, extractive single-point, single-gas transmitter that uses patented technology to enhance the performance characteristics of our legacy Midas device. It can draw a sample of over 40 gases locally or remotely, and features like its plug-and-play capabilities, enhanced Human Machine Interface (HMI), factory calibration and automatic bump testing, long-life sensor cartridges (up to two years), Power over Ethernet (PoE) protocol, and state-of-the-art diagnostics make it one of our most advanced, reliable devices in our portfolio today.

The VC4 Gas Monitoring System uses colorimetric technology for excellence in reduced interference, easy maintenance, and gas detection as sensitive as parts per billion (ppb).  It incorporates Honeywell’s Chemcassette® technology to reduce false alarms and system downtimes for about six months without replacement, while an HMI helps to get quick, easy access to critical information and a built-in web server make remote viewing and USB data extraction simple and straightforward.

The Vertex™ improves accuracy and safety by offering well-defined visual staining, even at low concentrations, enabled by Honeywell’s flow-through closed-loop optical system, which improves the detection of toxic gases and leads to more efficient and safer operations. Additionally, the Vertex’s full suite of redundancy features and advanced communications help mitigate the risk of system failure. With automatic flow adjustments, Vertex helps to reduce servicing and maintenance time, which can contribute to a lower total cost of ownership.

The Honeywell Vertex Edge platform delivers what customers appreciate in the original Honeywell Vertex™ system, plus additional features like flexible gas sampling of up to 40 toxic gases, enhanced accuracy and reliability with authentic Chemcassette technology, and a user-friendly touchscreen to facilitate quick maintenance for reduced downtime.

Our SPM Flex system gives you a more flexible, user-friendly tape-based gas detector for low-level toxics in a portable, single-point Chemcassette tape-based monitor that detects ultrasensitive gases even in harsh environments, and the Honeywell ACM 150 System can detect more gases, often at lower levels, and uses the latest FT-IR technology to give you a lower detectable limit (LDL) that can reduce maintenance and cut service time.

Whatever type of gas detection solution you need, Honeywell probably has just what you had in mind, but if you still don’t see exactly what you need, our global engineering team offers customizations that can help you meet your needs.
