Overview
Type I natural rubber (non-ozone resistant) and Type II SALCOR® synthetic rubber (ozone resistant) are both excellent choices for providing top-level electrical insulation for workers. To keep these rubber goods performing at their best and to extend their lifespan, it's important to take good care of them.Before each use, take a moment to visually inspect the rubber for any signs of damage—like holes, embedded wires, rips, tears, ozone cracks, UV wear, or chemical deterioration. A quick check can go a long way in keeping you safe!
