La computadora Thor™: VM2 es ideal para la automatización de procesos de almacén, puerto y patio. Combina una pantalla de 24.63 cm (9.7 in) con innovaciones de diseño que proporcionan un valor rápido para sus flujos de trabajo.
- Elimina el gasto de mantenimiento y la pérdida de productividad ocasionados por la batería gastada de un vehículo; la unidad puede configurarse para que ingrese automáticamente al modo de espera o hibernación a un horario determinado, luego de desactivar el interruptor de encendido, de manera que ahorre tiempo para las tareas relacionadas al mismo tiempo que se elimina el punto de preocupación de la administración de depósito.
- Reduce el costo de mantenimiento y capital al integrar los dos componentes de mayor desgaste y susceptibilidad al maltrato, el teclado y la pantalla táctil, en una pieza reemplazable por el usuario; reduce los costos de capital al sustituir los paneles frontales de repuesto por computadoras de repuesto.
- Permite el montaje y retiro en segundos como un acoplado de equipo portátil pero con la resistencia y el sellado necesarios para aplicaciones industriales; maximiza la eficiencia mediante el cambio dinámico de trabajadores y computadoras a medida que se modifica la carga de trabajo, y minimiza el costo de mantenimiento ya que permite que la computadora pueda trasladarse de un vehículo a otro en 1/6 del tiempo estándar.
