Delayed detection of gas leaks or fires poses significant risks to property, the environment, and human life. Honeywell’s High Tech gas detection portfolio utilizes a variety of technologies, including spectroscopy, electrochemical cartridge technology, catalytic bead technology, infrared technologies, and paper tape (Chemcassette®) colorimetric technology. Electrochemical cartridge technology offers parts per million (ppm) levels of detection, while the Chemcassette paper tape technology offers parts per billion (ppb) levels of detection.
