Übersicht
A Modbus instance license allows connected Modbus devices to send data to a CMS over a TCP/IP local network using the Modbus TCP/IP protocol. The number of modules connected to a Modbus instance is limited by the number of available licenses. A Modbus instance can connect to a maximum of 15 modules. A Modbus instance license includes a license for one Modbus module and can be supplemented with additional module licenses (up to 15).
