Overview
Viton is the most chemical resistant of all rubbers and it protects against toxic and highly corrosive chemicals. Viton protects against polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs): polychlorinated triphenyls: benzene and aniline. As a flouroelatomer: Viton provides excellent resistance to aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons as well as chlorinated solvents. It is not recommended for ketones.
